Educate or incarcerate. It's unbelievable how PA can lead in prisons yet fail miserably in education. Or is it?
Maybe there's a connection?

Long time no post. Been working on some awesome things at work and been too busy to think straight. Oh, and riding the Wiss every Wednesday night. So here's a kitty falling down to keep you occupied until I find time to blog again.

Welding mask glass filter, a group on Flickr.
This is awesome. I'm going to see about picking up a sheet of welding glass for a buck on Ebay and take some pics. Fantastic shots.

Ride to work day

I'm a huge fan of +Free Library of Philadelphia and make use of a number of services. Yes, they have dead-tree books, as you would expect, but they also provide a range of electronic and online services, from e-books to streaming music and everything in between. Check out their Digital Media page for a complete list.
Check out this infographic to see what's available, and what is coming down the road from your public library. And keep in mind all this stuff costs, so if you find yourself with a spare buck or two in your pocket maybe help them out with a donation.
